My name is Joseph Lehman, but most people call me Joe.  I am originally from Doland, SD.  I attended Northern State University, and graduated in 1996 with a major in elementary education, with minors in social studies and physical education.  I also have endorsements in coaching and drivers education.  I am 30 years old, and currently live in Webster, SD.  I am a 6th grade teacher, junior high football coach, grade school boys basketball coach, and drivers education teacher in Florence, SD.  I started my first teaching job in Florence 7 years ago.  I have had a very good experience in Florence due mainly to great students, caring parents, and a super teaching staff to work with. 

    I enjoy  doing things outdoors, only in the summer though, because I  LOVE warm weather, and do not want to come in the house at night.  I really dislike the cold, so in the winter I try not to go out unless I have to.  You can view some of my summer outdoor activities, here is a link to some of my hobbies.

    I am married to Renae Bitz.  She is 28, and currently teaches English in Webster, SD.  This will be her 5th year of teaching.  She is a great person, with good money managing skills (unlike myself).  Renae enjoys reading, biking, aerobics, and kids. 

    Renae and I have a 3, almost 4 on Sept. 28th, year old daughter.  Her name is Isabelle Mary.  She is a very bright, charming, and wonderful kid.  I love her more than anything in this whole wide world.  Isabelle LOVES to be read to, she also enjoys coloring and playing with play-doh.  She watches cartoons sometimes, and now she tells me her name is no longer Isabelle, it is REPTAR (the dinosaur from Rugrats.).
